 The purpose of the Bay Area Crisis Nursery is to prevent abuse and neglect of children by providing support to families who are in stress or crisis.
Our primary service is providing a warm, loving, homelike environment for children birth through eleven years of age by offering 24 hour residential care.

Hours:  We are always open... 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Age Limit: Birth through 11 years.
Available to: Any parent who comes to the nursery during time of stress or crisis.
There are no geographic limits.
Length of Stay: Minimum stay is 24 hours; average length of stay is 10 days;
maxiumum stay depends on time needed to resolve crisis (up to 30 days).
